Friday, January 27, 2012 18:19 Units were dispatched for a reported chimney fire, upon arrival found a fire in the chimney.  Crews contained the fire to the chimney and removed debris and smoke from the residence.

Thursday, January 12, 2012 00:49 Units responded to the intersection for vehicle that flipped on its side.  On arrival there was nothing at this intersection, upon further investigation it was on Manatawny St. closer to Sell Rd.  There was a vehicle that was on its side with someone still in the vehicle. Units assisted the police dept in their investigation of the accident and debris removal.

Friday, January 6, 2012  The members of West End Fire Company #1 are pleased to announced that we have been awarded a grant in the amount of $12,297.83 from the Office of the Pa State Fire Commissioner thru the Volunteer Fire Company, Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Program.

Sunday, January 1, 2012 11:08 am  Units were dispatched to the 400 block of Circle Dr for a circuit breaker in the basement that smelled like it was burning.   Crews checked the circuit breaker box with TIC  and found no problem.
